Wow, It's Been Awhile!

When you start on a Doctorate degree the vortex of reading, papers and homework never end. It has been almost 2 years now and I have to say I am treading water. But I have confidence I will persevere.

A lot has happened, we built and bought a new house, yeah! COVID 19 stopped the world and the classroom has never been so different. I thought my first year as a teacher was hard. No so. This year has been the hardest EVER. Not only did we start late, I have multiple classes each day where I teach hybrid, that is I have in-person and virtual students at the SAME time. There is no research out there that says this is a viable solution to parent who want to keep their kids at home, but we're doing it. Some of the teachers in my building are doing this great, I am not. Coding for my Computer Science classes are online so that is easy, hands-on learning with Micro:Bits not so much.

Me and the hubs had the opportunity to visit a brewery or 2 over the past few months, which is nice to get out but I am so over the masks. I know they are important to protect everyone I just hate wearing them day in and day out.

Well, I know this is short but I have homework to do.....
