Coding with my students

So this summer I went to a training in Houston, TX. Code.org Teachercon. I was awesome, one of the best conferences/training I have ever been to. We worked on learning how to use the new class CS Discoveries during the day and made connections to teachers from all over the country at night. Hadi Partovi spoke, as well as others.

Now I'm incorporating what I learned to my 6th graders. Unit 1 (no computers) was a stretch but Unit 2 Web Design i going great. About ready to move on to Unit 3.
