Well...I moved!

I moved to Charleston, SC this summer...sorry for the delay. It's a lot of work to move, find a new job and then start said job. But I did find a job at a Middle School in Charleston County Schools teaching coding, my favorite thing to teach.

This summer was packed with travel and learning as well. I participated in Infosys Pathfinders Institute at Indiana University where I learned to coding apps with MIT's App Inventor. It was soo much fun. I made some new friends from across the country and made some cool apps. Highly recommend this as I understand they plan to do this again. I traveled between Charleston and South Florida many times to prepare for my new adventure, I racked up some frequent flyer miles.

But now that the first 9 weeks of school comes to a close and I sit in another hotel at the state EdTech conference I reflect that this was a fun and exciting for me to move, learn and start a new job. And I hope to take this energy to propel me through this school year.
